Almost everything taos replaces is American. The European “region” those tools offer you is a data centre, not a jurisdiction — the company behind it still answers somewhere else.
taos is built and run by HOMtu®, a company registered in Poland. There is no American parent standing between your data and European law — the jurisdiction is the product’s own, not a region you select in a dropdown.
Your workspace — messages, tasks, boards and files — sits on European infrastructure at OVHcloud, a French provider. Nothing about that is an enterprise add-on.
Today the AI features call an external model, and that is the one part of taos that leaves the EU. We would rather write it here than let you find out later — and the model moves onto our own infrastructure in the EU before this year is out.
