Giving the point away
Three of them, and none is a throwaway. If these are what your team runs on, Notion is the right answer and we would rather you knew now.
Databases, relations, rollups, templates. If your team thinks in a structure nobody else ships, Notion will let you build it. Our Boards are opinionated and will not bend that far.
No limit on guests from Plus up, each seeing only the pages you share. If most of your work happens with clients inside shared documents, that goes further than our one to three.
Writing, wikis, nested pages, a search that finds the paragraph. If what your team produces is documents, they have a better home there than here — we have the conversation, the work and the process, not a wiki.
Where the difference shows
Notion has comments under a page; a team chat it does not have, so the talking happens somewhere else and the page records the conclusion afterwards, if somebody remembers. In taos the work starts in the conversation, which is why a message becomes a task and the task’s comments come back to the channel it came from.
A reminder, an event in a calendar — yours or somebody else’s — or a task on Boards in the project you pick, on every plan. Not a page you go and create somewhere else and then link back to.
Notion’s free plan stops at 1,000 blocks the moment a second person joins, and then you can edit but not add. Ours limits how many people and how many boards, never how much you write or for how long the conversation runs.
Switch between client organisations without logging out, with every notification from every module in one list, whatever your role in each. An agency with eight clients does not keep eight tabs open.
