This is what a company that sells things usually ends up with: chat in one place, delivery in another, the customer in a third. Every piece is good. The argument is about the two seams between them, and about the fact that three products means three sets of terms to read.
Capability by capability
Every line about Slack + Asana/monday + HubSpot was read on its own pages on 24 September 2026. Where we are still building something, the table says so.
| Slack + Asana/monday + HubSpot | ||
|---|---|---|
| Conversation | ||
| How many subscriptions | Three, from three vendors — and HubSpot itself is sold as separate Hubs, so the third one can be several. | One. |
| Internal team chat in the CRM | HubSpot’s chat is customer-facing: live chat connects visitors with your team, and the Conversations inbox handles incoming customer messages from customer-facing channels. There is no internal messenger. | One chat for the company and, in development, tickets and CRM inside the same product. |
| From talk to work | ||
| The free plans | HubSpot Free is two users, 1,000 contacts, 2,000 email sends a month with HubSpot branding, and one automated action. Asana’s free Personal plan is two seats per project and team for accounts created after 12 November 2025; monday.com’s free plan is two seats and three boards. | Eight people, chat, two Boards projects, six months of history, surveys and kudos — no card. |
| Where the context breaks | Twice: between the conversation and the task, and again between the task and the customer record. Each hop is an integration carrying fields, not reasoning. | The message becomes the task, and — once tickets and CRM ship — the customer thread becomes work exactly the same way an internal one does. |
| People and focus | ||
| Guests | Three policies. Asana gives unlimited free guests from Starter up; monday.com gives guest access only from Standard, two plans above free. | One policy, on every plan. |
| Culture, clients, tickets | ||
| Culture: kudos, surveys, eNPS | In none of the three. A fourth subscription. | From the free plan; pulse surveys and eNPS from Workspace. |
| Where it runs | ||
| Whose law applies | Three different answers. Slack bought from its own site: Slack Technologies Limited, English law, London. HubSpot for a European customer: HubSpot Ireland Limited, Irish law, Irish courts. Asana: Asana, Inc. and Californian law — or, if you chose monday.com instead: monday.com Ltd of Tel Aviv, Israeli law and the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa. | One: Polish law, Polish courts, a Polish company. |

Giving the point away
Three of them, and none is a throwaway. If these are what your team runs on, Slack + Asana/monday + HubSpot is the right answer and we would rather you knew now.
HubSpot’s CRM, sequences, pipelines and reporting are a mature product with years of work behind them. Our CRM and tickets are in development, and until they ship this stack does something we do not.
Email campaigns, landing pages, forms and attribution reporting. We have no marketing layer at all and no plan to pretend we do.
Between Slack, a work tool and HubSpot, almost every other system your company uses already has a connector. That breadth is real and we are years from it.
Where the difference shows
The conversation is in Slack, the work is in Asana or monday.com, the customer is in HubSpot. Each hop is an integration that carries fields and drops the reasoning. In taos the message becomes the task and the task answers back into the channel it came from.
HubSpot’s chat connects visitors to your team, and its Conversations inbox is for incoming customer messages. Your own people still need somewhere to talk, which is why Slack is in this stack at all.
Two HubSpot users, two Asana seats or two monday.com seats and three boards. Ours is eight people with chat, boards, surveys, kudos and the dashboard, on one login.
None of the three has kudos, surveys or eNPS. Ours are in the product from the free plan, with pulse surveys and eNPS from Workspace.
When someone leaves, a three-vendor stack has three user lists, three guest policies and three places where access quietly survives. taos has one.
English law in London, Irish law in Ireland, and either California or Israel depending on which work tool you chose. Ours is Polish law, Polish courts, one Polish company.
