Wrike is a serious project management tool with a European data centre on every plan — a genuinely rare thing, and we say so below. What it does not have is the conversation the project came out of, which is where this comparison actually happens.

Giving the point away
Three of them, and none is a throwaway. If these are what your team runs on, Wrike is the right answer and we would rather you knew now.
Wrike offers European data residency on all five plans, including the free one, and an account registered in Europe goes there by default. Most of this category puts that behind the top tier, if it offers it at all. Credit where it is due.
Custom workflows, request forms, proofing, workload charts and resource management. If your work is running many projects for many clients, Wrike models that more thoroughly than we do.
Wrike’s free plan does not cap how many people join — it caps the work instead, at 200 active tasks. Ours caps the people at eight. For a large team that wants to try something on a small slice of work, that is the friendlier shape.
Where the difference shows
Wrike has comments on tasks. It does not have channels, direct messages, voice notes or meetings, so the talking happens in Slack or Teams and the project tool receives the conclusion without the reasoning. In taos both live in the same place and point at each other.
Two hundred active tasks, one shared space, no Gantt, no dashboards, no automation. Ours has eight people with chat, two Boards projects, surveys, kudos and the dashboard — a small team can actually run on it.
Your dashboard shows the work about to reach you — the moment the person ahead of you in the process finishes, not when someone remembers to tell you. Wrike keeps dashboards for paid plans and has no equivalent of that tile.
An agency lives in several client organisations at once. In taos you switch between them without logging out, and every notification from every module and every organisation lands in one list.
Kudos, Feedback Friday, surveys and anniversaries from the free plan; pulse surveys and eNPS from Workspace. Wrike has no layer for this, so it becomes a separate subscription and a separate login.
Wrike’s European data centre is real, and it is about where bytes sit. The agreement is still with Wrike, Inc. under California law with the courts of San Diego County. Ours is with a Polish company under Polish jurisdiction.
